Air Stagnation Advisory issued January 24 at 10:13AM PST until January 27 at 4:00PM PST by NWS Spokane WA* WHAT...Stagnant air conditions will have potential to trappollutants near the ground.* WHERE...Portions of North Idaho and Central, North Central, andNortheast Washington.* WHEN...Until 4 PM PST Monday.* IMPACTS...Periods of air stagnation can lead to the buildup ofpollutants near the surface.Buildup of fine pollution particles can be harmful to thosesensitive to air pollution including people with lung and heartproblems, people with diabetes, children and the elderly.If possible, reduce or eliminate activities that contribute to airpollution such as, outdoor burning and use of residential woodburning devices. Reduce vehicle trips and vehicle idling as much aspossible. Check with local air management agencies for possiblerestrictions in your area.
