Overnight temperatures will also be very warm and limitchances to recover from the heat, with lows ranging from the mid60s to low 70s.* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Oregon andsouthwest Washington.* WHEN...From noon Thursday to 11 PM PDT Sunday.* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly duringextreme heat events.Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out ofthe sunshine, and check up on relatives and neighbors.Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Carinteriors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loosefitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morningor evening.
