Flood Watch issued November 16 at 1:10PM CST until November 18 at 6:00PM CST by NWS Tulsa OK* WHAT...Flash flooding and river flooding caused by excessiverainfall is possible.* WHERE...A portion of northeast Oklahoma, including the followingcounties, Creek, Nowata, Osage, Pawnee, Rogers, Tulsa andWashington OK.* WHEN...From Sunday evening through Monday afternoon.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Rivers that currently have the most likely potential to experienceat least minor flooding include the Neosho River, Bird Creek,Caney River, and Polecat Creek. River forecasts will continue tobe refined in the next 24-48 hours as specific rainfall amountsbecome more certain.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Widespread areas of moderate to occasionally heavy rain, withembedded thunderstorms, will spread into northeast OklahomaSunday night. Another round of showers and storms areexpected Monday as a cold front moves through.
