Coastal Flood Advisory issued November 19 at 3:10AM EST until November 19 at 3:00PM EST by NWS Wilmington NC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground levelexpected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidalwaterways.* WHERE...The lower Cape Fear River including downtownWilmington.* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 3 PM EST this afternoon.* IMPACTS...The lowest portions of USS North Carolina Road andBattleship Road begin to observe minor coastal flooding. Waterbegins to spread out of storm drains onto Water Street justsouth of Market Street in downtown Wilmington.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
