Water approaches some secondary roads over thesoutheast sections of Kinston. Campgrounds and picnic areas at theNature Center in Kinston are inundated.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 8:15 PM EDT Friday the stage was 17.1 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 8:15 PM EDT Friday was 17.3 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 15.5 feetWednesday evening.- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
