Treelimbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for highprofile vehicles. Use extra caution. Flood Advisory issued December 11 at 5:26PM EST until December 11 at 7:30PM EST by NWS Upton NY* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, including the followingcounty, Fairfield, northeast New Jersey, including the followingcounties, Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union, and southeastNew York, including the following counties, Bronx, Kings(Brooklyn), Nassau, New York (Manhattan), Queens, Richmond (StatenIsland), Rockland and Westchester.* WHEN...Until 730 PM EST.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 525 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated a band of heavy rainmoving into the NYC metro. Minor flooding is expected tobegin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch ofrain has fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expectedover the area.
