There is considerable uncertainty in exactband placement and amounts, but multiple periods of heavy snow arepossible. Travel could be very difficult to impossible with verypoor visibility and deep snow cover on roads. Some major roadwayscould temporarily close. Travel could be difficult. The hazardousconditions could impact the Friday evening and Monday morningcommutes.Narrow bands of heavy snow could bring rapidly changing roadconditions and visibilities. Localized travel problems will bepossible.During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locallyheavy snow with greatly reduced visibilities to dry conditions justa few miles away. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,visibility, and road conditions.
