Cold Weather Advisory issued December 21 at 3:26AM EST until December 22 at 9:00AM EST by NWS Burlington VT* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 25 below expected.* WHERE...Southeastern St. Lawrence, Southern Franklin, WesternClinton, and Western Essex Counties.* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 AM EST Sunday.* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills between 15 below zeroand 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in aslittle as 30 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur ifunprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind chills on mountain peaks are expected tobe lower than 30 degrees below zero.Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, ahat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Do not usegenerators or grills inside.
