Coastal Flood Advisory issued November 21 at 3:38AM EST until November 21 at 5:00PM EST by NWS Upton NY* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground levelexpected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline.* WHERE...Northwest Suffolk, Northeast Suffolk, SouthwestSuffolk and Southeast Suffolk Counties.* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 5 PM EST this afternoon.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in the more vulnerable locationsnear the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads and low lyingproperties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes andbusinesses with basements near the waterfront will experienceminor flooding.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
