The greatest snow amounts in theBuffalo Metro area are expected across the nearby Southern Suburbsand possibly South Buffalo. Little, or no snow is expected acrossthe Northtowns.* WHEN...From 7 AM Saturday to 7 PM EST Sunday.* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult to impossible in areas ofheavy lake effect snow with deep snow cover on roads and extremelypoor visibility.During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locallyheavy snow with greatly reduced visibilities to dry conditions justa few miles away. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,visibility, and road conditions.Consider delaying travel. If you must travel, drive with extremecaution. Leave plenty of room between you and the motorist ahead ofyou, and allow extra time to reach your destination.
