Winds gusting as high as45 mph. For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected. Total snowaccumulations of 2 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.* WHERE...Hamilton and Northern Fulton Counties.* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 1 AM EST Monday. Forthe Winter Weather Advisory, from 1 AM Monday to 6 AM ESTWednesday.* IMPACTS...Roads will remain slick and hazardous. Gusty winds couldbring down tree branches.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lake effect snow will develop later tonightand continue through Tuesday with the potential for near blizzardconditions at times. The greatest snowfall amounts will occur inwestern portions of northern Fulton County and extreme southernHamilton County.If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water inyour vehicle in case of an emergency.Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution whiledriving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps takenon stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. Treelimbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong winds along with the weight of snowand ice on trees will lead to an increased risk of downed treesand power lines, resulting in power outages.Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for highprofile vehicles. Use extra caution.
