Additional snowaccumulations 10 to 18 inches in the most persistent lake snows.Winds gusting as high as 40 to 50 mph today, producing areas ofblowing snow.* WHERE...Orleans and Monroe Counties, mainly across northernportions of the counties near the Lake Ontario shoreline.* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST Wednesday.* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult to impossible, especiallythis afternoon and evening. Areas of blowing snow willsignificantly reduce visibility, with near whiteout conditions attimes.Heavy snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, beprepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.Submit snow reports through our website or social media.
