Winds gusting as highas 40 mph will produce considerable blowing and drifting snow andnear whiteout conditions at times.* WHERE...The Eastern Lake Ontario Region. The heaviest snow isforecast across central and southern Jefferson County, central andnorthern Lewis County, and far northern Oswego County.* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Friday.* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult with deep snow cover onroads and very poor visibility. Areas of blowing snow willsignificantly reduce visibility, with near whiteout conditions attimes.
