Highest gusts will be near the Lake Ontario shoreline.* WHEN...Until 6 PM EST this evening.* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will cause areas of blowing and driftingsnow. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages mayresult.Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a highprofile vehicle. Areas of blowing snow will cause poor travelconditions, especially near open fields.

The hazardous conditions willimpact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes.Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands.
