Flood Advisory issued December 11 at 7:26PM EST until December 11 at 9:00PM EST by NWS Upton NY* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, including the followingcounty, Fairfield, northeast New Jersey, including the followingcounties, Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union, and southeastNew York, including the following counties, Bronx, Kings(Brooklyn), Nassau, New York (Manhattan), Queens, Richmond (StatenIsland), Rockland and Westchester.* WHEN...Until 900 PM EST.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 726 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minorflooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in theadvisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain havefallen.- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected overthe area.
