Coastal Flood Advisory issued October 1 at 3:42PM EDT until October 2 at 12:00PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground levelexpected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidalwaterways.* WHERE...Atlantic, Cape May, Atlantic Coastal Cape May andCoastal Atlantic.* WHEN...From 6 AM to noon EDT Wednesday.* IMPACTS...At this level, flooding begins on the mostvulnerable roads in coastal and bayside communities, and alonginland tidal waterways. Some partial or full road closures arepossible.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Some spotty minor coastal flooding couldoccur with this evening's high tide, however inundation will begreatest with the Wednesday morning high tide.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
