Special Weather Statement issued January 8 at 11:56AM MST by NWS Billings MTSnow showers will continue across the area through 1 PM. Expectvisibilities to drop to around 1/4 mile with a quick accumulation ofup to one inch. This will impact Interstate 90 and 94.Locations impacted include...Lockwood, Huntley, Pompeys Pillar, Lavina, Laurel, Molt, Silesia,Shepherd, Billings Heights, Billings, Acton, Worden, Park City,Rockvale, Custer, Broadview, Billings West End, Comanche, Ballantine,and Pryor.The snow can accumulate at a rate of one inch per hour or more inthis area of heavy snow. Be prepared for hazardous drivingconditions. Consider delaying travel if you will be going throughthis area of heavy snow.
