Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.* WHERE...Anderson, Coffey, and Franklin Counties.* WHEN...Until 9 PM CST this evening.* IMPACTS...Roads will be slick and hazardous. Visibilities may dropbelow 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow.Persons should delay all travel if possible. If travel is absolutelynecessary, drive with extreme caution and be prepared for suddenchanges in visibility. Leave plenty of room between you and themotorist ahead of you, and allow extra time to reach yourdestination. Avoid sudden braking or acceleration, and be especiallycautious on hills or when making turns. Make sure your car iswinterized and in good working order.

Do not use generators or grills inside.
