In Iowa, Lee County.* WHEN...Until 2 AM CST Wednesday.* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zerocould cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 20 to 30minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skinis exposed to these temperatures.Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, ahat, and gloves.Keep pets indoors as much as possible.Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensureportable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grillsinside.
