High Surf Advisory issued February 19 at 3:34PM HST until February 20 at 6:00PM HST by NWS Honolulu HI...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY FORNORTH AND WEST FACING SHORES OF NIIHAU KAUAI OAHU MOLOKAI AND WESTFACING SHORES OF THE BIG ISLAND....A series of west-northwest to northwest swell will produceadvisory level surf along exposed north and west facing shoresthrough Thursday.* WHAT...Surf heights of 10 to 15 feet along north facing shoresand 8 to 12 feet along west facing shores.* WHERE...North and west facing shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu,Molokai, and Maui.* WHEN...Until 6 PM HST Thursday.* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currentswill make swimming dangerous.Heed all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don'tgo out.
