High Surf Advisory issued February 19 at 3:23AM HST until February 19 at 6:00PM HST by NWS Honolulu HI...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM HST THISEVENING FOR NORTH AND WEST FACING SHORES OF NIIHAU KAUAI OAHUMOLOKAI AND NORTH FACING SHORES OF MAUI AND WEST FACING SHORES OFTHE BIG ISLAND....A series of west-northwest to northwest (310-320 degree) swellswill produce advisory level surf along exposed north and westfacing shores through at least this evening.* WHAT...Surf heights of 10 to 18 feet along north facing shoresand 8 to 12 feet along west facing shores.* WHERE...North and west facing shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu,Molokai, and Maui.* WHEN...Until 6 PM HST this evening.* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currentswill make swimming dangerous.Heed all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don'tgo out.
