High Surf Advisory issued February 18 at 3:30AM HST until February 19 at 6:00PM HST by NWS Honolulu HI...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM HST WEDNESDAYFOR NORTH AND WEST FACING SHORES OF NIIHAU KAUAI OAHU MOLOKAI ANDNORTH FACING SHORES OF MAUI AND WEST FACING SHORES OF THE BIGISLAND....A series of west-northwest to northwest (300-320 degree) swellswill produce advisory level surf along exposed north and westfacing shores through at least Wednesday.* WHAT...Surf heights of 10 to 18 feet along north facing shoresand 8 to 14 feet along west facing shores.* WHERE...North and west facing shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu,Molokai, and north facing shores of Maui.* WHEN...Until 6 PM HST Wednesday.* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currentswill make swimming dangerous.Heed all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don'tgo out.
