Flood Advisory issued June 27 at 5:09AM CDT until June 27 at 8:15AM CDT by NWS Mobile AL* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of northwest Florida, including the followingcounty, Okaloosa.* WHEN...Until 815 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 509 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches ofrain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expectedover the area. This additional rain will result in minorflooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Niceville, Eglin AFB, Valparaiso, Lake Lorraine, Postil,Eglin Village and Seminole.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
