Heaviest amounts are expected fromthe Forgotten Coast near Apalachicola northward. Flash flooding is ongoing or expectedto begin shortly.HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poordrainage and low-lying areas.Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...Blountstown, Orange, Bristol, Altha, Estiffanulga, Woods, HughCreek, Marysville, Red Hill, Lewis, Jensen Place, Sharpstown,Scotts Ferry, Kennys Mill, Nixon Garden, Central City, Vilas, AbeSprings, Wilma and Durham.Liberty County Sheriff's Office reported roads underwater at ForestRoad 120 and State Road 65 at the intersection of County Road 379.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or lawenforcement and request they pass this information to the NationalWeather Service when you can do so safely.
