Flood Advisory issued June 27 at 4:19AM CDT until June 27 at 6:15AM CDT by NWS Tallahassee FL* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of the Panhandle of Florida, including thefollowing county, Walton.* WHEN...Until 615 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 419 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gaugesindicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding isongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expectedover the area. This additional rain will result in minorflooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Eglin Air Force Base, Freeport, Ebro, Bruce and Portland.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
