Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 28 at 4:06AM EDT until September 28 at 11:00PM EDT by NWS Key West FL* WHAT...Saltwater flooding 1 to 1.5 feet above ground.* WHERE...Bayside communities of the Upper Florida Keys.* WHEN...Through this evening, although water levels continue tofall steadily.* IMPACTS...Saltwater flooding of low elevation streets and lotsis expected. Some storm drains will overflow, and someseawalls and docks will be overtopped. Boaters can expect lessclearance under fixed bridges. Motorists should remember thatpersistent puddles around the times of high tide are almostcertain to contain a mix of saltwater.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
