Largest conditions will exist at west facing beacheswith direct access to open ocean swell.* WHEN...Until 4 AM PST Sunday.* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions andlocalized beach erosion can be expected. Large waves can sweepacross the beach without warning, pulling people into the seafrom rocks, jetties and beaches. Sudden immersion in coldwater can result in cold water shock even for the mostexperienced swimmers. Cold water shock can result in dramaticchanges in breathing, heart rate and blood pressure, greatlyincreasing the risk of drowning in rough open waters.Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due todangerous surf conditions.
