Heaviest snowfall rates will be earlyThursday morning with rates exceeding 1 inch per hour at times.As the band of heavy precip passes, moderate to heavy snowshowers will be likely through Thursday evening with snowfallrates around 0.5 to 1 inch per hour.* WHAT...Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations of 12 to 15 inches.* WHERE...Klondike Highway, particularly near White Pass.* WHEN...Until 9 PM AKST Thursday.* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult and is discouragedunless it is an emergency.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light snow showers are possible throughthe day Wednesday with moderate to heavy snow beginning aroundmidnight.
