Winter Weather Advisory issued November 26 at 8:19AM AKST until November 27 at 3:00AM AKST by NWS Juneau AK...SNOW POTENTIAL CONTINUES FOR JUNEAU AREA THROUGH TUESDAY....Lingering low pressure over the NE Gulf of Alaska will causebands of showers to track over the area. Lack of moisture with thesystem thus far has caused lower snowfall, reducing the expectedstorm total accumulation.* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches.* WHERE...City and Borough of Juneau.* WHEN...Until 3 AM AKST Wednesday.* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. Allow extra time for theevening commute.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates will increase around mid-dayTuesday and continue through the early evening.
