General Flood AdvisoryUnder present weather conditions, At 3:00 PM today, the center of the eye of Typhoon "JULIAN" {KRATHON} was estimated based on all available data at 245 km Northwest of Itbayat, Batanes (22.6°N, 120.5°E) with maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 200 km/h. It is moving Northeastward at 10 km/h. Easterlies affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The 12-hour rainfall forecast is light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. WATERCOURSES LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED : + **Ilocos Norte** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Bulu, Banban, Bacarra-Vintar, Laoag and Quiaoit. + **Ilocos Sur** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Lower Abra, Silay-Sta. Maria, Buaya, and Amburayan.People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the **Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils** concerned still advised to take appropriate actions.
