From Saturday afternoon snow in mountainous areas above 500-600 meters is expected in Nordland. Sunday morning and forenoon the snow line will drop to 400-500 meters.Locally 10-25 cm of fresh snow/24 hrs is expected, predominately in the north. The snowfall is expected to decrease early on Monday. Travel time may increase on some journeys. Local driving conditions may become difficult.Allow some extra time for transportation and driving. Use tires fit for winter conditions and use caution while driving. The need for emergency preparedness shall be assessed continuously by emergency response actors.
