Standby Signal, No.1 was updated at 1:45 p.m. on 10 NovemberHere is the latest Tropical Cyclone Warning Bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.The Standby Signal, No. 1 is in force.At 2 p.m., Severe Typhoon Yinxing was estimated to be about 420 kilometres south-southwest of Hong Kong (near 18.7 degrees north 113.0 degrees east) and is forecast to move southwest at about 12 kilometres per hour in the general direction of the seas south of Hainan Island and weaken gradually. In the past couple of hours, Yinxing continued to track southwestwards away from Hong Kong. Local winds further weakened. The Observatory will cancel the Standby Signal, No. 1 at 3:20 p.m.There will still be a few showers over Hong Kong at first, with occasional strong winds offshore and on high ground, and seas will still be rough with swells. Members of the public are advised to remain staying away from the shoreline and not to engage in water sports.1. Precautions should be taken. Drains should be cleared of obstructions, and windows and doors should be checked.2. Strong winds are still blowing over offshore waters. Small vessels should remain in shelter and precautions should not yet be relaxed.3.
