Please refer to local forecasts for specifics on event timing.Remarks: Strong northerly winds will develop over the Kivalliq region as an Arctic High begins moving into the region from the west and a strong winter storm system moves towards Baffin Island from Quebec. These strong winds will combine with temperatures falling into the -20 to -30 C range and produce widespread blizzard conditions to the region along with wind chill values of -45 to -50.###Travel is expected to be extremely hazardous due to reduced visibility.Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
