blizzard warning in effectAn approaching low pressure system from Quebec combined with a ridge of high pressure to the west is expected to bring blizzard conditions to Sanirajak and Igloolik beginning Wednesday evening. Northerly winds gusting to 60-70 km/h combined with temperatures dropping to near the -30 mark will result in near-zero visibility in blowing snow accompanied by wind chill values near -44.
