Where: BC's North and Central coasts, including inland regions.Additional information: An arctic airmass and very strong outflow winds are giving low wind chill values near minus 25 to 20 until Tuesday. Some moderation is expected later Tuesday. For inland regions, wind chill values may lower to near minus 20 in the overnight and early morning hours on Wednesday and possibly until later this week. Outflow winds are extremely high through the mainland inlets, where northeasterly winds are gusting up to 90 to 120 km/h.###Frostbite and hypothermia can occur within minutes if adequate precautions are not taken when outdoors. Any skin exposure is likely to result in frostbite. High winds may result in power outages and fallen tree branches.Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
