DAMAGING WESTERLY WINDS of 60 to 70 km/h with gusts of around 100 km/h are likely across southern, central, and eastern parts of the state, including over Hobart, from early Monday morning. Peak gusts of around 120 km/h are possible about the coastal strip of the East Coast district between Scamander and Swansea, as well as exposed and elevated areas of the state. Winds are expected to drop below warning thresholds late Monday afternoon.
